Project Class

Urban Community Schools is a private school system entirely free and gift-funded for under privileged children. We created a logo and marketing kit for Project CLASS, a campaign for the community to sponsor a child’s education. We decided to use the children’s artwork instead of photos of children and portray the idea of “seeing through the eyes of a child.” The client wept when she saw the concept, being so surprised how on-target it was. She also felt that the logo embodied many different viewpoints as “the community holding the heart of a child”, a “child’s body and heart” and even “an apple with a heart representing school.”
